speaking of  “grendel is gay”  —  please, just say gay.  don’t call him queer or mlm or  “achillean”  or whatever if you’re referring to him and him alone.  he is canonically homosexual, he is a gay male, and labeling him under a term inclusive to bi/pan people is potentially misleading or deceptive, as it does not address his sexuality with enough definence as to waive the idea that he may also like women, somehow  —  he doesn’t.  he is not someone who loves men additionally or ambiguously, he is someone who loves men Exclusively, and Yes, specification matters, Thank You Very Much.
